Booking Process
A system that you will love.
Step 1
Submit your inquiry.
Use my Contact submission form to get in touch with me! Please include details on your preferred package (see below), your due date, your preferred time for the session to happen (ideally within 6-10 days of your delivery), along with any other information I should know.
Step 3
Session and proofs.
After your session, I will deliver your proof gallery within 1-2 weeks. The proof gallery contains all of the best images we shot during your session; they are roughly unedited and meant to give you an idea of the final image. You will then create a Favourites List of all of your chosen images. These chosen images will be edited fully with skin retouching, etc.
Step 2
Book your session.
Once we've decided on a date and time for your session, I will send along the paperwork to finalize your booking. At this time, I collect a non-refundable $100 deposit and a signed contract. Then it's onto the planning stages!
Step 4
Gallery delivery.
Your Favourite images will be fully edited and delivered back to you within 2-3 weeks!
At this time, your images will be available for instant download. From this point on, we can discuss turning your edits into beautiful keepsake products, such as prints, enlargements, and fine-art albums that are customized to your tastes and preferences.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the session run?
The session will run on babe's schedule. I have a white noise machine on hand to help babe fall and stay asleep. Some photos are done with babe unclothed, but if your babe is fussing I will mainly use wraps to keep them comforted and to ensure we get some precious shots.
You can expect to have to change and feed babe at least once during the session; induce the milk coma! A baby with a full tummy is a sleepy, and generally, a happy baby.
While I am working, you are free to relax and watch the process in the comfort of my studio.
What is a beanbag set vs. a prop set?
Beanbag sets are performed, just like it says, on a beanbag! This is where we capture those colorful and posed sets of babe laying or curled up into certain positions. A lot of these poses are only achievable when babe is less than two weeks old, before the bones begin to fuse. I will never, ever push or compromise your babes safety for a pose. Older newborns can of course still be photographed but usually are more alert and not as flexible.
Prop sets are designed around a specific furniture piece: a bed, a bucket, a bowl, etc.
When should we book?
The best time to book is at the beginning of your third trimester. I will pencil you in for your due date so I know to expect your babe will be coming soon (or later). After babe arrives, we ideally schedule your session within 6-10 days, but it can absolutely take place anytime during the first several weeks of babes arrival. This timeframe is ideal for sleepy and flexible babies; older babies tend to be more awake and active but can still be photographed!
Do my other kids stay the whole time?
If you've booked the family add-on for photos with your partner and/or other kiddos, I usually will start with these portraits so that they can carry on with their day. The sessions run smoothest in a still and quiet setting; the more bodies present, the trickier this is to achieve. After we've captured your family portraits, your partner and kiddos are free to go!
