1. Do you travel for destination weddings?

Yes! While British Columbia is home, I am ever expanding my photography reach across the world. Together, we can discuss any applicable investments relating to travel.

2. WHAT ARE YOUR TRAVEL FEES?

Travel fees apply to locations outside of the city limits of Kamloops BC. The mileage rate is 72 cents per kilometre travelled. Accommodations are required for locations more than one hour away and for events that require an arrival time before 12pm and/or a departure time of later than 7pm.

3. What is your BOOKING policy?

At the time of booking, 25% of your chosen collection is required and serves as a non-refundable deposit towards the final investment. The remaining balance, as well as any travel fees, is due one week prior to the event date. Payment options include e-transfer and credit card (+3%).

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, albums?

All of the above. You've invested so much into your wedding day already, it is just as important to preserve these memories with professional quality products that stand the test of time. When your online digital gallery is delivered, you receive full access to my print store options of luxury prints, canvas or other wall-art, and fine-art albums/magazines.

5. CAN WE SEE A FULL GALLERY?

Of course, I am more than happy to provide several examples of full galleries from real clients with their permission. Please ask! You can also view more of my selected works on my Instagram, or you can dive into the day-of experiences and watch the day unfold by reading my blog.

6. How are our images protected?

All three of my professional-grade DSLR camera bodies house dual-card memory slots. This means while I am snapping throughout the day, your images are being backed up instantaneously to two places at once. After the event, the images are immediately transferred onto two external hard drives, as well as backed up to the Cloud. At this point, your files safely exist in 5 places at once.

7. Can we meet before the WEDDING?

I would be concerned if we didn't! You don't want a stranger photographing the most important day of your life anymore than I want to be said stranger. I need to have a good understanding of who you are as a couple to best capture your day, whether that is through your engagement session, a casual sit-down, or a Zoom call in long-distance cases, I want to know you!

8. How long UNTIL I receive the final GALLERY?

For weddings, you can expect sneak peeks within 48 hours, and your final gallery within 6-8 weeks. For portrait and engagement style sessions, expect your final gallery within 2-3 weeks.

These timelines are estimates and largely depend on where we are at in peak season.

9. Can i request specific captures/poses?

Absolutely, I encourage you to provide me with a list of your must-have memories and I will do everything in my power to make sure they are delivered to you. From the smallest details of your stationary to ensuring you get a photograph with your Great Aunt, it is always a great idea to have your wishes and your vision written down in hard copy. Trust, and leave the execution to me.

11. What is your cancellation policy?

Weddings

In the event that a wedding is cancelled or it becomes impossible for the photographer to provide the contracted services due to the fault of the client, the 25% paid deposit is forfeited. Any monies paid towards the final balance are fully refundable up to 6 months prior to the event date. If cancellation occurs within 6 months of the event date, any monies paid towards the final balance are forfeited in recognition of the unlikelihood to secure a new booking.

Sessions

In the event that a portrait/other session is cancelled or it becomes impossible for the photographer to provide the contracted services due to the fault of the client, the 25% paid deposit is forfeited. Sessions may be rescheduled at the discretion of the photographer based on weather conditions with no penalties to the client.

10. How do you select a second shooter?

The second shooters on my team are fellow creatives that meet my standards of professionalism in work quality, time-management, and communicating. They are brought on to essentially act as a duplicate version of myself. Images taken by my seconds are edited by me to ensure I can deliver a cohesive final gallery that flows seamlessly and represents my editing style.

12. are you licensed/insured?

Yes, my business license allows me to operate as a professional photographer, and my body and my equipment are fully insured via indemnity and liability insurance policies. Occasionally additional licensing and/or operating permits are required for specific event locations (ie. within National Parks, out of country destinations, etc); I am responsible for attaining any such paperwork, at the pre-disclosed cost of the client.

STUDIO COLLECTION

Fine-art sessions are highly glamorous maternity portraits designed to your tastes and performed downtown Kamloops in my studio space. These sessions include fully designed backdrop sets with professional strobe lighting and extra enhancements including aerosols.

My studio client closet is extensive, featuring lavish outfits designed to make you look and feel as powerful as the nature of motherhood.
